Ordering and payment
Do I pay in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Every price on the site is in Canadian dollars, no matter where you or your recipient live. Your bank or card converts at its usual rate.
How can I pay?
Checkout runs through PayPal. Use your PayPal account, or the debit or credit card option on PayPal's checkout page.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Only if it hasn't gone to print yet. Email commstore1@gmail.com right away with your order number and we will try to catch it. Once an item is printed it is yours, because it was made just for you.
Printing and production
Where are your products made?
Every item is printed when you order it, not pulled from a warehouse. Our print partner has facilities in Canada, the United States, Europe, the UK, Australia and parts of Asia, and your order goes to the one closest to the delivery address.
Why does that matter?
Two reasons. Your gift arrives faster because it doesn't cross an ocean, and it skips most of the customs delays and duties that come with shipping a parcel from Canada.
Who makes the designs?
We design them in Cochrane, Alberta.
Shipping in Canada and the US
How long does delivery take?
Production takes a few business days, then it ships. Most orders in Canada and the US arrive within one to two weeks. You get a tracking email when it leaves the printer.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on what you order and where it goes. Enter your address and you will see the cost before you pay.
Sending a gift abroad
Can I send a gift to family in Germany, the UK or the Netherlands?
Yes, and it is one of the best things we do. Enter their address at checkout and pay in Canadian dollars. The gift is printed in Europe, close to them, and usually arrives within days instead of weeks. See Send a Gift Abroad to shop by country.
Which countries can you print locally in?
The United States, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Czechia, Portugal, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Brazil, South Africa and the UAE. We ship to most other countries too, just from further away.
Will my recipient pay duties or customs?
When the item is printed in their region, usually not, because it never crosses a border. For countries where we ship from further away, local duties can apply and are the recipient's responsibility.
Can I add a gift note?
Not yet. If you want one, email commstore1@gmail.com after ordering and we will do our best.
Returns and problems
Can I return something I don't like?
No. Everything is printed to order, so we can't take back an item because of a change of mind or a wrong size. Please check the size guide on the product page before you order.
What if it arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong?
Email commstore1@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the problem and your order number. We will send a free replacement or refund you.
My parcel never showed up.
Let us know within 30 days of the expected delivery date and we will replace it. If the address entered at checkout was wrong and the parcel comes back, reshipping is at your cost.
The colour looks a little different from the photo.
Small colour differences between screens and print are normal and not a defect. If something is clearly wrong, send us a photo.
The products
Are the mugs dishwasher and microwave safe?
The 11 oz ceramic mugs are, yes. The enamel camp mugs are hand wash only and stay out of the microwave.
How do the caps fit?
Our embroidered caps are Flexfit 6277, in two sizes: S-M for heads up to about 57 cm and L-XL above that. If you are between, choose L-XL. The Montreal surf cap is one size with an adjustable closure.
How do the hoodies and tees fit?
Unisex sizing. Every product page has a size chart with chest and length measurements. Measure a shirt you like and compare.
Can I get my city or town if it isn't listed?
Yes. Email commstore1@gmail.com with the city and what you want it on (mug, cap, tee) and we will set it up.
Canada Collector Series
What is the collector series?
One new Canada mug every year, sold only during that year. When the year ends, that edition retires and is never printed again. The Canada 2026 maple leaf mug is the first.
Can I buy last year's edition?
No. Once a year is over, that mug is gone. That is the point.
